Camp Resilience is partnering with Badger Wilderness Guides to offer a Veteran Family Bushcraft Retreat at a local campground in the breathtaking Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Bushcraft is all about acquiring skills and knowledge that can help a person survive in the wilderness. The Bushcraft skills will include pairing parent(s) and their children together to build shelters and start fires in primitive conditions, tool making, knotcraft, tracking and more!
The Bushcraft activities will also help the retreat participants strengthen their resiliency and also improve family relationships while having fun!
Participants will be outdoors for some of the activities, but there will also be indoor workshops. Families will be staying in rustic cabins with bunk beds and are required to bring their own bedding.
All lodging, meals, and activities are provided at no cost, however transportation to and from the retreat is the responsibility of each participant.
Camp Resilience offers this retreat to all First Responders who are retired or approaching retirement! Workshops will be focused on effective are designed to enhance your quality of life and mental and physical health through small-group discussions and hands-on activities.

Join us for 4 days of togetherness and adventure at the beautiful Ames Farm Inn in Gilford, New Hampshire. Camp Resilience offers this retreat led by two highly experienced couples therapists. Challenge yourselves by taking part in both exciting and relaxing activities, such as sailing, hiking, aerial treetop adventure, yoga, tai chi, and/or martial arts mindfulness and emotional self-regulation skills will be focused on throughout the retreat.

Camp Resilience Retreats help service members, veterans, first responders and their loved ones recover and maintain their physical, psychological and emotional well-being. These free 3-4 day retreats combine peer-to-peer counseling, life skills workshops and outdoor experiential learning. Camp Resilience strives to provide attendees with the tools to develop self-improvement goals and sustained ties to their community.
